In this role, you will use excellent communications skills, a passion for digital content marketing, and a track record of integrating enterprise technology platforms to fulfill modern marketing automation and digital engagement strategies. You will help mature and align digital experiences to business priorities by advancing e-commerce initiatives, B2B lead nurturing models and personalized content touchpoints.
You will lead Agile development and engage in regular Scrums, testing, visitor group profiling and HubSpot content automation across the web ecosystem. You will work closely with senior management to connect business requirements with technical capabilities and deliver outputs that are measured and optimized for success. Your contribution will ensure the successful mapping and execution of digital projects to meet Marketing and Product business objectives.

Advance Marketing’s digital engagement strategy by leading technical optimization efforts for UmpquaBank.com, Umpqua’s HubSpot platform, digital store displays and mobile and desktop applications.
Integrate cross-functional needs among Marketing, Product and Technology clients to define business cases and achieve stakeholder alignment.
Work closely with technology leads, product owners, marketing strategists, content designers, senior executives and external partners to map, plan, stage, launch and manage digital programs.
Identify and assist in executing digital performance improvements, including KPI analysis, a/b testing, user experience enhancements, information architecture and design adjustments, content engagement and search optimization strategy.
Evaluate the effectiveness of digital communication and marketing activities in achieving goals and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Participate in regular technical team Scrums to influence timely story releases and advancement of digital programs.
Manage and prioritize backlog work items in production.
Triage digital project requests from stakeholders and translate approved stories to the Scrum team.
Join regular Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Refinements, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives, to align stories and backlog.
Participate in Roadmap & Release planning, User Acceptance Testing coordination and Release prep activities. Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.
Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.
Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, multimedia or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and other measurement platforms (certification preferred).
2+ years working directly with technical teams on software and/or web development, with functional knowledge of development practices, requirements and testing.
2+ years managing multiple consumer-facing digital channels with proven results.
2+ years leading Agile development processes for marketing, product and/or technical teams.
Experience integrating marketing automation tools, specifically HubSpot, within existing web platforms.
Deep understanding of Episerver or comparable enterprise CMS platform and ability to evaluate/learn new technologies.
Passion for measuring digital content performance and making data-driven decisions to iterate and improve digital experiences over time.
Proficient in mapping technical requirements across multiple environments, to ensure data integrity and customization for a variety of user models.
Ability to translate creative and communication needs to technicians and product owners.
Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and project management programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others to achieve goals; strong writing/verbal/presentation skills.
Outstanding project management, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Java.
Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to explore, act and support the Umpqua brand ethos.
Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.
